My old friend Alex “Edward Sharpe” Ebert, of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, is releasing a new album today titled Here and featuring the new single Man on Fire. Listen to them perform live on KCRW.
My friend Alex Ebert, of recent Edward Sharpe fame, has a new solo album called Alexander. Here he is Conan playing the first single, Truth.
I saw my friend Scott Kinnebrew’s band, Truth and Salvage Co., this weekend at Piano’s. They were truly amazing live. They are on tour now so catch a show if you can.
It's awesome to see my friend Alex Ebert’s band, Edward Sharpe, finally blowing up. Here is the video for their song Home. Check our their new album here.
Bureau V performing live at the Guggenheim
Last night we performed with Assume Vivid Astro Focus at the Guggenheim Museum as part of the Eye to Eye series. We created a sort of soundscape somewhere between the Velvet Underground and Kraftwerk, but noisier, more abstact, and surely not as good. Our set was surrounded on all sides by Kandinsky paintings. We actually were required to keep our distance in case of a catastrophic technical failure. We perform again tonight.
We (Bureau V) will be creating a live audio installation with Assume Vivid Astro Focus (AVAF) at the Guggenheim Museum. The event is part of the Eye to Eye series of artist led tours of Kandinsky. Dec 8th and 9th at 630pm.
If you are taking someone on a first date, I recommend David Allan Coe. Works every time.
Wild!
